"We went with Danielle in the summer of 2008 for our 30th anniversary and had a spectacular time. She provides a very personal touch for her guests and serves in many roles: as inn keeper, chauffeur, tour guide, restaurant critic, shopping advisor, translator, and all around boon companion. Not only were her services and selections stellar, but she is located in what has to be one of the most picturesque places on the planet. It was a great value for our dollar, and we had a marvelous time. We recommend her wholeheartedly!"
"I loved the week I spent with Danielle in France!! I don't speak French. I am a single woman who usually travels alone. Danielle was able to provide me with wonderful information to get to the farmhouse at Fonguilleres easily. It was wonderful to spend a vacation away from the big city, exploring the countryside and the local villages, bastides and chateaux. Danny helped me plan my days, did a lot of the driving for me, and even helped me order in restaurants and talk with shop keepers. She also helped me understand the local customs and culture. One morning when the group was not planning to go to the street market, Danielle went with me to find the napkin rings that I regretted not buying when I saw them several days earlier. Photos can NOT do justice to Fonguilleres. You'll be tempted to spend your entire week right there, enjoying the farm house and the pool. But resist that temptation because you'll never regret any side trip that might present itself to you! I look forward to returning to Fonguilleres!"
"All I can say about Dordogne is that I would move to live there without any hesitation; it's an enchanting region with delicious food, charming medieval villages, gorgeous landscapes and weather. It's peaceful and restful. It's a must for those who love to travel. Danny knows the area very well, so just sit back and let her take you places - she's a perfect guide."
"If you'd like the best private tour guide in France, whom you can enlist as much or as little as you'd like, you'll take a trip to La Belle France with Danielle. My husband and I traveled with Danielle Guryansky to Le Dordogne and had a wonderful time. Danielle arranges transportation, translates if you need it, and directs you to the sites one wants to experience from castles and crusises to hidden-away-towns and restaurants to local markets and fabled vineyards. We stayed in a roomy farmhouse with a pool. We could simply walk the surrounding countryside with its fields of sunflowers when we opted to or stay put to totally relax. Travel to France and enjoy it on your terms -- with options galore. No hastles. See France with Danielle and leave the driving to her!"
"We were a group of six women - friends, daughters & a niece - going to France together, all but one, for the very first time. Needless to say we were a little anxious. Our first stop was Paris before meeting Danielle at the train station in Bergerac. Danielle graciously helped us with our hotel reservations for Paris as well as our train reservations for the return trip. She is a wonderful host, translator, and guide. Danielle is patient and kind as well as extremely knowledgeable about the region. Our trip was packed with daily visits to outdoor markets, castles, churches, neighboring towns as well as a tour of a local vineyard. We experienced first hand the flavor of the region eating in local restaurants, drinking the local wines and shopping in the villages. Our evenings in the farmhouse were reminiscent of families/friends gathered around a large kitchen table eating, laughing, and sharing stories. There is not one negative about our trip, even the weather cooperated. All six of us had a fantastic time and have recommended this trip to our colleagues and friends. One other recommendation - pack light and leave plenty of space in your suitcase to bring back a case of wine from the local vineyard."
"Danny provided two weeks of spectacular carefree sightseeing, fabulous food, wine, and most of all a room with an incredible view to rest our weary bones after a day seeing wonderful castles and vineyards. I loved every minute and would go again in a heartbeat!"
"I went to France last summer with Danielle and five other delightful people I had never met before. I had a wonderful time! I found Danielle made being in a foreign county, not being able to speak the language, very easy and comfortable. The scenery and the contryside were beautiful!!
